The BEST BUILDING PLANS are the key to a successful project. For those who are familiar with the process of developing Building Plans for construction project simply send me an email describing your needs and I will respond within 24 hours. For those who are new to the process of developing Building Plans for construction read the following general information. Depending on your project there may be up to six stages of the design process. Those stages are published on your plans in a box labeled “Drawing Release” the following are drawing release categories: Preliminary Plans, Plan Check Plans, Construction Bid Plans, Construction Permit Plans, Final Construction Plans and As Built Plans. Typically projects do not require all six steps but all projects do require at a minimum the following two items: 1. Preliminary Plans Submitted to your Local Community Development Department in order to verify that basic predetermined guidelines are included in your plans. 2. Fully developed and detailed plan sets which must be Stamped & Wet Signed by a State Licensed Engineer in order to receive a permit for construction. Disclaimer: It is illegal for any person to claim, be claimed or referenced as an Engineer unless they are duly licensed by the state in which they conduct business in which case they shall possess a valid registration number from that state. I am not a State Licensed Engineer. I am a very well qualified draftsman and I can work with you directly or in conjunction with your selected State Licensed Engineer in the development of your Building Plans. |
